I never thought that I would be one of those people who would cut out entire food groups just for my health. But it seems as though that day has finally come and I am so excited. The truth is that I am doing for more than just health reasons, but that is at the top of my list. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I know that although some people may attribute that to genetics, it also has to do with the type of food I put into my body.

It has been really hard to come to terms with the fact that I need to change my diet in order to live a happier and healthier life. I mean, food has always been what made me happy when I was down, but I am trying to find other things to help me feel better when I am sad. Though I am not sure that I will just stop changing what I eat once I fully become vegetarian, it is a good start for me.
